Windows 8 introduced a lock screen which appears at the time of entering password credentials in order to enter the desktop. This lock screen appears before password input and uses a nice animation to let the users move to the login-in screen. The same feature is available in Windows 10. This screen also shows up when the user signs-out of the Windows as well as when PC remains idle for a specific period of time. So, the user has to click the mouse button or any key on the keyboard to enter the sign-in screen.

A majority of users don’t like this screen inside Windows 10 as it tends to create obstruction in signing-in rapidly inside Windows. According to them, this lock screen feature is pretty hefty and it increases the chances of entering wrong password while trying to sign-in inside Windows. So, they want to get it removed.
