These days getting Google Android system errors has become very much common for most of the android OS users and the most irritating fact is that almost all of these errors are often found to be related with Google Play Store App. Google Play Store is a very important app for the Android OS which fills the gap between the end user and developers i.e Users can download or install apps or games through Google Play store application. Therefore this app is responsible for everything from app downloading to updating them regularly. Interesting fact is that most of the Google Play store errors occur while trying to download or update apps from it and Google Play Store Error DF-DFERH-01 is one of many such errors. The message displayed for this error is “Error while retrieving information from server DFDFERH-01”.In this article I will explain various methods for solving this error.

Method 1 : Clear old cache files

Clearing old cache is one of the best methods to avoid different kinds of Google play store errors. It has been highly observed that your old cache has been found as the main reason behind such errors so it is always recommended that you have to clear your installed app’s cache on a daily basis or you can either use Apps like CCleaner  to automate cache clearing, so that you don’t have to clear your cache manually. So in order to clear Google Play Store cache you can follow these steps:

Go to your Android Device Settings -> Go to Applications -> Select All -> Tap on Google Play Store.

Here now you will get the option of Clearing Data and Clearing Cache as shown above, so just tap on these two options and rest will be done by the phone itself.

Now you need to follow the same method for clearing the cache of Google Services Framework because it is also responsible for errors related to Google Play Store. To clear its cache, go to Applications, Tap on Google Play Services app and Clear cache and Data.

And that’s it. If cache were the reason for this error then it should be fine by now.

Method 2: Fix Google Play Store Error

Sometime our Google Play Store application might be the one which is causing this error. Sometimes current updated version of Google Play Store might have compatibility issues. If that’s the case then you have to uninstall updates of Google Play Store.

Go to Settings >> Application Manager >> All >> Google Play Store.
